T-Mobile: Free bike servicing on weekends

Prague, 22 July 2005 - Each holiday weekend from 23 July to 28 August, free bike servicing, refreshments and mobile photo printing will be offered on six most popular cycling routes in the Czech Republic. Just stop at one of the T-Mobile Stations or T-Mobile Spots that are open on these routes. "We believe that all who enjoy cycling will welcome this service. T-Mobile has been connected with professional cycling for a long time, and we would also like to support cycling as one of the most popular sports of both adults and children," says Jiri Hajek, T-Mobile's press spokesman.
T-Mobile Stations offer free bike servicing, from bike tuning, replacement of common parts such as brake gums, bulbs or reflectors, to expert advice on bicycles, the cycling route and the first aid in the case of an injury. "Cycling safety rules are not observed to a sufficient extent in the Czech Republic, especially in the case of children. Therefore we organize an education programme for children called A Helmet Suits Better than a Bandage," Hajek explains.
T-Mobile Spots offer free refreshments and advice on the cycling route.
Those who like to compete can take part in a knowledge competition on cycling and the region of the route organized at T-Mobile Stations. The main prize is a cycling helmet and T-Mobile Team jersey.
