T-Mobile: Calls from abroad for EU prices start on 1 August

Contract customers can start ordering the EU roaming add-on in July
Twist users will be charged for calls according to the new price list from 1 August
Contract customers can choose between the popular Cestovatel and the EU add-on

Prague, 2 July 2007 - A new roaming tariff that conforms to the requirements of the European Union will be offered to T-Mobile customers from 1 August. With the EU add-on, which T-Mobile is introducing earlier than the European regulation requires, people will be able to call for favorable prices within all 27 EU countries. Contract customers can ask for its activation beginning in July, in which case they will start using it in the first week of August. The roaming price list for Twist users will be modified on 1 August.

With the EU add-on, outgoing calls will cost CZK 13.90 excl. VAT (CZK 16.54 incl. VAT) per minute and incoming calls will cost CZK 6.80 excl. VAT (CZK 8.09 incl. VAT) per minute. The prices only relate to calls made between any two of the 27 EU countries.

Contract customers can start ordering the new roaming add-on in addition to their existing Happy Roaming tariff plan throughout July. Calls within the EU will be charged according to the price list of the EU roaming add-on while other services such as SMS, MMS data transfers and calls outside the EU will be charged according to the Happy Roaming price list.

Apart from the new EU roaming add-on, the popular Cestovatel remains valid, which means that contract customers can choose the option that is more favorable for them. Cestovatel stands out among roaming add-ons due to low prices not only for calls but for all services including SMS and data transfers. Moreover, it is unbeatable as far as long calls are concerned, and also can be used in Croatia, which is not an EU member state. The EU roaming add-on brings more favorable per-minute rates for calls among all EU countries; for this reason, customers who travel within the EU and mainly use voice services will find it more useful.

Contract customers can order the EU roaming add-on by sending an SMS with ROA A EU to 4603. The add-on will be activated in the first week of August and customers will be notified of this by means of an SMS. Twist users' calls within the EU will be charged from 1 August according to the same per-minute rate that is applied in the EU roaming add-on for contract customers.

Note: The EU roaming add-on cannot be combined with other roaming add-ons such as Cestovatel.
