- Sponzor - reverse-charge calling means certainty for your loved ones
- Possibility to sponsor up to five Twist numbers
- Possibility to have up to five sponsors
Prague, 14 April 2008 - Good news for parents - children can no longer make the excuse that they have run out of credit. Effective 21 April 2008, T-Mobile is launching a new service called Sponzor, which allows reverse-charge calling. The principle of this service is simple: any T-Mobile customer may select up to five Twist numbers and pay the incoming calls from these numbers according to his/her tariff plan. The "sponsor" may also choose whether he/she will pay for all incoming calls from these numbers or only when the relevant credit on such numbers is lower than CZK 10. No fee is charged for setting up the service or any subsequent changes.
For whom Sponzor is intended
All T-Mobile customers can use this service. Both a contract customer and a customer using Twist prepaid services may become a sponsor. The service can easily be set up via a SMS, using the interactive voice response system at 4603, or under My T-Mobile. Information on any modifications will be sent to the sponsor as well as to the sponsored number. The set-up and any subsequent changes to the service settings are free of charge.
The sponsor does not need to set limits on his/her generosity. The sponsor may select up to five Twist numbers and pay for incoming calls from these numbers. The sponsor's generosity will be rewarded not only with the certainty that he/she will be available when needed, but also with Bonus points for the sponsored calls. On the other hand, a Twist user may have up to five different sponsors.
Service options
Customers who activate the Sponzor service may choose one of the two following variants:
a) sponsor all incoming calls - incoming calls from the sponsored number(s) are always paid by the sponsor;
b) sponsor incoming calls only in the case of low credit - incoming calls from the sponsored number(s) are paid by the sponsor only if there is not enough credit on such number(s) (the credit is equal to or lower than CZK 10).
Note...
The sponsor who uses Twist prepaid services must only be careful that he/she has enough credit. In the event that the sponsor does not have enough credit, the call will not be connected, in which case the caller will be informed accordingly. Also, in the event that a contract customer who is a sponsor cannot make outgoing calls because they are blocked, the caller will not be able to make a reverse-charge call - his/her call will be connected but will be deducted from his/her credit.
The advantages of this service are apparent: instead of the ringing and hanging up, Twist users may call to their sponsor regardless of their credit. Children, for example, thus no longer can make the excuse that they "would definitely have called but ran out of credit."
More information on the new service will be available at www.t-mobile.cz, beginning 21 April.
