- T-Mobile provides unlimited data transfers with the Blackberry service from 1 June 2008
- The offer is valid for all T-Mobile customers, both current and new
Prague, 2 June 2008 - Remote access to the office is becoming more and more popular among Czech companies and managers. T-Mobile has therefore decided to meet their needs and make it even easier for them to do business. Beginning 1 June 2008, T-Mobile offers Czech businesspeople improved conditions relating to the BlackBerry service. The offer is valid for both new and current customers.
BlackBerry users no longer need to worry about how much data they download per month as the 10MB limit was removed completely on 1 June. Access to corporate e-mail folders via APN BlackBerry will therefore be charged at a unified price regardless of the number of messages downloaded or their size. In addition, those customers who access the web through a built-in browser that also connects to the internet using the APN BlackBerry solution will be able to surf the web without any data-download limit.
But the best thing is that this significant improvement of the conditions of the service will not raise the price for customers in any way. They will continue to pay the same price - CZK 449 excl. VAT (CZK 534.31 incl. VAT).
| BlackBerry | Fixed fee for the BlackBerry service | |
| CZK excl. VAT | CZK incl. VAT | |
| Monthly payment | 449.00 | 534.31 |
| Free units (APN BlackBerry) | unlimited | |
Moreover, all T-Mobile customers can use the Try&Buy offer which allows them to test the BlackBerry solution for a period of up to one month completely free of charge. The installation of the server part, configuration of end terminals and training of the IT staff is also provided free of charge.
BlackBerry allows mobile access to corporate e-mail folders from anywhere, at any time. E-mails are delivered instantly, without any need on the user's part to perform manual synchronization, and they can be not only read but also answered, forwarded and deleted. The user can also view attachments in any of the usual formats such as Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Adobe PDF documents, common graphic files, etc. The BlackBerry service also allows on-line access to all corporate contacts and to the latest updates of appointments in the calendar.
T-Mobile offers the BlackBerry service not only to large corporate customers with their own mail servers but also to small businesses and entrepreneurs in the form of a hosted solution.
