- The world's most famous hip-hop event for the first time in the Czech Republic
- T-Mobile customers can win free tickets
Prague, 14 October 2008 - The world's most famous hip-hop festival is to take place in the Czech Republic for the first time. Thanks to t-music, Prague will host this show presenting the leading urban music artists including Nas, Mos Def, De La Soul, Scratch, Supernatural, EPMD and Pharcyde on 31 October. And T‑Mobile has prepared for its customers some pleasant surprises, including a competition in which they can win tickets for the show or a visit backstage.
While Hip Hop Kemp is the largest hip-hop event in Europe, Rock the Bells is the biggest in the entire world. So far, fans could only attend this renowned festival overseas. This year it will also take place in Europe for the first time and, thanks to t-music, the Czech Republic will be one of its stops. The Bells will start ringing on 31 October at Tesla Arena (former T-Mobile Arena).
Fans have a lot to look forward to as Prague will see six big American names: Nas, Mos Def of Black Star, Pharoahe Monch, EPMD, De La Soul and Pharcyde. Prague has never seen so many stars perform on one stage in one night.
In addition, t-music offers all T-Mobile customers the possibility to win free tickets or exclusive backstage passes. They just have to take part in SMS competition and answer a simple question. The competition, in which 50 tickets and 10 exclusive backstage passes can be won, is only open to T‑Mobile customers and those who want to take part should hurry, as it runs only until Friday, 17 October.
On the day of the festival, presents from t-music, such as posters, stickers and photos for mobile phones will be made available for all hip-hop fans. Those who cannot attend the festival should not miss the November edition of the t-music charts, which will feature a report from the festival and interviews with the artists.
