T-Mobile presents a new tariff for M2M applications

- Minimum flat fee with free units for voice and data services
- The M2M tariff will replace the existing Data&SMS tariff
Prague, 20 October 2008 - T-Mobile has improved its offer for users of M2M applications. As of today, they can activate the new M2M tariff, which is, as its name indicates, suitable for "machine to machine" applications transferring smaller volumes of data. It can be used, for example, for monitoring devices, security systems in buildings or car fleet logistic systems.
"M2M applications are one of the most dynamic parts of our Partnership Program. The number of SIM cards used for these solutions increases by tens of percent each year," says Jan Roule, Vice President Partnership and Wholesale at T-Mobile.
The main advantages of the new tariff are the low monthly fee and the offer of free units for both data and voice services. For a monthly fee of CZK 99 excl. VAT (CZK 117.81 incl. VAT), users will get 30 free SMS within the T-Mobile network, one megabyte of free data (EDGE a GPRS) and, newly, also voice services - five free minutes for calls. Another benefit is low prices for data transfer after exceeding the limit - 1 MB costs CZK 30 excl. VAT (CZK 35.70 incl. VAT).
The new tariff is a perfect option for those using M2M applications working with small volumes of transferred data, such as car fleet logistics solutions, security systems for buildings and cars, localization of persons or lift operation supervision.
The new tariff replaces the current Data&SMS flat-rate program. Users may choose whether to keep this program or switch to the M2M tariff.

T-Mobile's Partnership Program is open to any firm that offers interesting, innovative solutions in the area of telecommunications and wishes to offer its services not only to T-Mobile customers. More than 60 companies providing more than 100 solutions are currently involved in the program. Services related to car fleet logistics are most common. The offer also includes applications ensuring mobile data collection, security of buildings and cars, remote access to offices or payment via SMS.
