T-Mobile will offer naked ADSL

Prague, 29 July 2009 - You don't want to pay a monthly fee for a fixed line, yet you want to be able to use high-speed internet access? Beginning 1 August 2009, T-Mobile extends its portfolio of data services to include the "naked" ADSL service, offering fixed internet access without the need to pay a fixed-line monthly fee and download speeds of up to 16 Mbps without any limitation as to the volume of transferred data. This new service further enhances T-Mobile's comprehensive portfolio of data services allowing customers to surf the net from the comfort of their homes as well as on their travels.
"We believe that this offer will appeal to a number of customers who were put off from using high-speed internet via a fixed line by the necessity to pay a monthly fee for a service they would otherwise not use," says Petr Dvorak, Executive Vice President Marketing at T-Mobile.
Customers can choose from two tariff plans: Internet ADSL Standard without a fixed line, with data transfer speed of 8 Mbps, which is charged at CZK 699 per month, or Internet ADSL Premium without a fixed line, which offers data transfer speed of up to 16 Mbps and costs CZK 849 per month (all prices include VAT). No FUP applies to data transfers within both tariff plans. Customers can also activate the service even if they have an inactive fixed line.
