Twist Internet Lite: a new service for occasional surfers

Prague, 9 February 2010 - T-Mobile is improving its range of data services by introducing a special bundle for occasional surfers, Twist Internet Lite. This bundle includes a data device and prepaid surfing for three or twelve months. Users who opt for the one-year variant will now obtain a higher monthly FUP limit of 500 MB instead of the standard 200 MB. Twist Internet Lite is available only from selected IT vendors.
Everyone considering the purchase of a new PC or laptop can now get mobile internet from T-Mobile on the spot: Twist Internet Lite can be currently obtained from selected IT distributors, for example at any of the 160 Comfor shops. Customers do not have to take care of the technical aspect at all, as the vendor will show them all the necessary details and make the required installation.
Twist Internet Lite can be purchased either as a separate SIM card with prepaid internet for three or twelve months or in a bundle with a data device. For example, the 4G Combi card with internet service costs just CZK 7,468 for 12 months. Thus, the user will be able to access the internet for one year; after that, such user can continue surfing if he or she has enough credit to pay the monthly fee of CZK 249 incl. VAT.
As this offer is designed primarily for non-discerning, occasional internet users, the monthly FUP limit is 200 MB. However, customers who decide to activate Twist Internet Lite for twelve months now will receive more than twice as much each month - 500 MB. After exceeding the basic or increased limit, the service continues to be available but the transfer speed is lower. Nevertheless, customers can purchase additional data volumes without speed limitations - 200 MB for CZK 120 incl. VAT.
Twist Internet Lite can be used for GPRS/EDGE and UMTS TDD data transfers.
