T-Mobile is launching a new generation of "friendly" tariff plans

Prague, 15 April 2010 - This Sunday, T-Mobile is launching a new generation of "friendly" tariff plans. Users can choose from four transparent plan levels offering unlimited calls and text messages to five T-Mobile numbers 24 hours a day, attractive extra credit and totally free off-peak calls to the T-Mobile network. T‑Mobile is thus improving its current portfolio, which includes, for example, the BAV SE, Rodina ("Family"), credit-based and unlimited Grand plans.
The redesigned "friendly" tariff plans are again intended for those customers who wish to communicate with their loved ones - friends and family members - without any limitations. For a monthly fee, users can make unlimited calls and send unlimited text messages at any time of day to up to five T-Mobile numbers. Customers can also bundle these plans in a 2v1 (2in1) package and get a voice plan and fixed-line internet at a discounted price.
Unlike the first-generation plans, which are now being replaced, the redesigned "friendly" plans offer a new, attractive bonus - free credit that can be used for calls, texts and multimedia messages also to numbers other than the selected five. Customers can make free calls and send free text messages at any time of day, without having to wait for "off-peak" hours. Moreover, the higher the plan level they choose, the more credit they get compared with the cheaper variant. For example, the Pratele 500 ("Friends 500") plan offers CZK 300 credit; with the Pratele 700 plan, users receive CZK 600 credit. For CZK 200, customers get CZK 300 credit that can be used for calls, texts and multimedia messages outside of their selected five numbers.
Unused credit is not forfeited. Unlike the standard practice on the Czech market, unspent credit remains available for one year and is always used before new credit is used.
Contracts for the new tariff plans can be concluded for a fixed term of either 24 or 36 months. Customers opting for the longer variant can purchase a handset for a subsidized price or obtain the Volani mimo spicku ("Off-Peak Calls") bundle free of charge for one year. With this add-on, users can make free calls to T-Mobile numbers every day from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
As T-Mobile is considerate of the environment, Statements of Services relating to the "friendly" tariff plans will be automatically available in electronic form (they will also be available in paper form for a fee of CZK 19). Customers will be notified by text message when invoices are issued. Customers can also check invoices via the My T-Mobile service or in their e-mail. In addition to receiving electronic Statements of Services, every subscriber can order Itemized Lists of Calls for just CZK 1.20 incl. VAT per list.
Specially priced bundles available from 1 May
Customers who wait and activate any of the "friendly" tariff plans in May or in June can take advantage of an attractive promo offer. Those signing a two-year contract will have the possibility to purchase a handset for a discounted price. In May, customers can purchase a Nokia 2330 or 7230 for prices starting at CZK 1, and in June a Samsung E 1170 or S5350 Shark. These handsets come complete with another bonus: customers signing a three-year contract can also use the Volani mimo spicku ("Off-Peak Calls") bundle.

The "friendly" tariff plans are available to all customers signing a new contract, switching from a prepaid Twist card or any community-based tariff plan - e.g., Rodina ("Family"), BAV SE s Mych5 and Grand. Users of minute- and credit-based tariff plans can switch to the "friendly" tariff plans when extending their contract.
2v1 packages - voice plan + fixed-line internet
The new tariff plans can also be combined in the 2v1 ("2in1") package, which offers a voice plan and fixed-line internet at a discounted price. For example, Pratele 900 ("Friends 900") and Internet ADSL Standard without a fixed-line cost only CZK 1.349 per month when bundled. If activating these services separately, customers would pay CZK 1.599. Users can thus save CZK 250 every month on the price of internet access.
