T-Mobile: festival tickets directly in your mobile phone

Prague, 27 July 2010 - In cooperation with Ticketstream, T-Mobile is offering its customers the possibility of buying tickets for summer festivals via mobile telephone. Customers of the major mobile operator are the first who can buy tickets for music events such as the Ceske hrady.cz ("Czech Castles.cz"), Moravske hrady.cz ("Moravian Castles.cz") and Sazavafest directly via their phones, so there is no need to stand in the queue at the box office.
Tickets can be ordered very easily: customers simply visit www.vstupenka.mobi, choose from the offer of festivals, enter the number of tickets and pay by mobile phone using m-payment. The tickets will then be delivered to their phone via SMS. Customers can order several tickets using one telephone number. For each ticket purchased in this way, customers will get a free Twist SIM card and a small present at the entrance to the festival.
In standard cases, the maximum amount that can be paid via m-payment is CZK 700. However, for the summer festivals the amount was exceptionally increased to CZK 900. Moreover, T-Mobile customers planning to visit Sazavafest can save thanks to m-payment. The usual ticket price is CZK 1,000, but if the ticket is purchased via mobile phone, fans will pay only CZK 900.
M-payment is an increasingly popular payment method which enables entities to charge for their services, content or goods sold via the internet. The customer can pay immediately and no activation or registration is necessary. Transactions can be tracked on-line, as payments are made on-line and take only a few seconds.
