T-Mobile to Bring iPhone 4 to Czech Republic on 27 August 2010 at 7 a.m.

Prague, 26 August 2010 - T-Mobile today announced that it will launch iPhone 4 in the Czech Republic on 27 August. The operator will offer 16GB version in black colour from under CZK 7,999. iPhone 4 will be available both to post-paid and pre-paid customers. The sale for impatient iPhone fans will start at 7 a.m. at T-Mobile Shop in Prague, Na Prikope 23. To make shopping more pleasant, T-Mobile will offer free breakfast to its customers.

iPhone 4 features FaceTime, which makes the dream of video calling a reality, and Apple's stunning new Retina display, the highest resolution display ever built into a phone, resulting in super crisp text, images and video. iPhone 4 also features a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, HD video recording, Apple's A4 processor, a 3-axis gyro and up to 40 percent longer talk time - in a beautiful all-new design of glass and stainless steel that is the thinnest smartphone in the world. iPhone 4 comes with iOS 4, the newest version of the world's most advanced mobile operating system, which includes over 100 new features. The revolutionary App Store provides access to more than 200,000 apps including the new iMovie app built just for iPhone 4.

PricesiPhone 4 will be offered in several levels from under CZK 7,999. The basic price is CZ 16,999; a prospective buyer with the lowest minimum monthly commitment of CZK 250 will pay CZK 14,499. iPhone 4 sold in a Twist set will cost CZK 17,049.

The iPhone 4 uses a new type of SIM card - "microSIM" - which is smaller than the standard SIM card. Each customer that buys a new iPhone and activates a new tariff plan or asks to have the current active SIM card exchanged at a T-Mobile shop will get a free microSIM. Customers may use a unique T-Mobile offer: each T-Mobile shop will be equipped with a special cutter for reducing the size of a standard SIM card to the microSIM size. This is much faster than the standard exchange of SIM cards. The service is also free of charge. For temporary use of the microSIM in a regular mobile telephone, a special microSIM adaptor can be purchased for CZK 70.
